MFT Intern

Professional Summary

As a competitive rodeo barrel racer, I bring a unique perspective to therapeutic practice, grounded in dedication, resilience, and an understanding of family dynamics. My

experience in competition, success, and overcoming setbacks enhances my approach, enabling me to connect with clients on both a personal and professional level. I value hard work, personal growth, and the nurturing of relationships, all of which I integrate into my work with clients.

Areas of Expertise

With a background in working closely with horses and art, I’ve developed a keen sensitivity to detail, which is central to my therapeutic practice. I focus on creativity and self-expression, particularly in helping clients process loss and navigate personal transitions. Additionally, I have led groups for individuals looking to heal from life changes and reconnect with their inner strength.

Therapeutic Approach

My training includes Gestalt therapy and experiential therapies, which I incorporate into sessions to foster awareness, self-discovery, and authentic expression. My approach integrates both art and equine therapy, creating a rich and multi-faceted therapeutic experience.

Professional Background

Having been raised with horses, I possess a lifelong bond with animals that informs my practice. I hold a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I continuously work to enhance my skills as both a therapist and a horse trainer, merging these passions to offer clients a unique healing experience.

Why Work with Me?

I am committed to creating a supportive and compassionate space where clients from all backgrounds can feel understood. As both a therapist and horse trainer, I specialize in guiding clients to deepen their connection with themselves and process complex emotions. Through empathetic support and creative therapeutic techniques, I help individuals and couples heal from emotional wounds, fostering healthier and more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
